SDAC Decoupling training session: Registration for testing with market participants
OKTE invites market patricipants to an SDAC decoupling training session and at the same time opens the possibility of registration. The tests will take place on 25/11/2026 at 13:00 to 17:00 CET. Information on the scope of tests and timings is available in HERE.
Market decoupling is an exceptional situation in which some or all markets cannot participate in the Single Day-Ahead Coupling (SDAC) process and the relevant fallback procedures are applied, such as local auctions and shadow auctions for cross-zonal transmission capacity. Taking part in the training session allows market participants to practise these procedures, become familiar with the communication process and check the readiness of their systems and internal processes for such a situation. Detailed information on fallback procedures, timelines and market messages is available in the SDAC Fallback Manual, published on the OKTE website.
In case of interest in participating in the member testing, it is necessary to register with OKTE and for the purposes of the shadow auction in JAO. The test will also include local auction.
Registration in OKTE test environment
It is necessary to send an email with the subject "SDAC TEST - Registration" to the address market@okte.sk with the following data:
- Request for testing in the ISOT system + valid certificate (if the access to the test environment was not established already)
- email address for receiving notifications during testing
If a market participant has been granted access to a test environment in the past, this access remains functional, but it is still necessary to provide an email address for the purpose of sending notifications during testing. If the market participant doesn´t have an access to the OKTE testing environment, they may request its establishment by sending a Request for testing XMtrade®/ISOT system, available on the OKTE website.
Registration at market@okte.sk is possible only until 24/11/2026 EOD.
Registration in JAO for the purposes of the shadow auction
Registration on the JAO website for the purposes of the shadow auction is required by 17/11/2026 EOD. The following information must be sent to the e-mail address helpdesk@jao.eu :
